For the price and quality this place is a steal. $6.50 lunch deals are great. You get your protein selection, rice, and soup for this price. The Mongolian beef was great. Not the best I've had but very tasty(overloaded onions and veggies gives lots of flavor and their crazy was sweet, like most American palates seem to like their Chinese food). The hot and sour soup had great flavor for a soup. Mushrooms, tofu, eggs, and good base make it great.
I don't understand the low rating for this place. Maybe other items have less taste. This place has very few people eating in, most seem to take the food to go. Highly recommend this place. -

It's hot in the dining room. The dining room is dark, uninviting and used for storage. Table service after you order and pay at the counter, which means you have to tip before you receive the service. I ordered Mongolian beef combo w hot and sour soup, no rice. Soup was good. The entree was not traditional Mongolian beef. Everyone has their styles but rice noodles and green onions are typical. I've even seen mushrooms added. This dish was something else. I ate the soup and beef from the dish and left. I tried. I won't try it again.

Great for a quick bite
We stopped in while we were waiting for my nail appointment and ordered a couple of items off of their $5 lunch menu. The menu in the window says it takes 10 minutes, but we got ours in 5.
The food itself is okay. I was actually surprised that the orange chicken was crispy and had a bit of flavor to it, not like some quick Chinese restaurants that put old dry pieces of chicken and coat it with an orange colored sugar glaze. My husband was actually put off by the reddish color, but I think it's just the sweet chili sauce that it's coming from.
My husband's pepper steak he said was just okay too. "It wasn't great, but it was good for the price. There wasn't a lot of beef in it, but the pieces I did get were a pretty good size. It was a bit overlooked too."
I might stop in again if I'm around this neck of the woods again, especially for their large variety of $5 lunch specials.
Also bring a jacket if you're eating in; the food might be hot, but the seating area is freezing. -

I used to order from here all the time when I went to EMU. The orange chicken lunch special is usually what I order. I decided to get it again since I haven't had it in almost 2 years.
It's still good, but I guess I look at the chicken little differently now. There's not as much chicken as I thought there was. -

Ordered for the first time here. Everything was great until I had the Pad Thai, which was horrible. I would rate my entire order EXCEPT for the Pad Thai as a 5, but this dish was mushy and flavorless. Hopefully they will up their game with this dish in the future. It won't stop me from ordering there again with things I know they do well.
